Starting yesterday, April 6th, all residents and people who work in San Bernardino county that are 16 and older, with or without underlying conditions, are now eligible for the COVID vaccine. This decision was made yesterday by the county Board of Supervisors. Those who are under 18 years of age will be receiving the Pfizer COVID vaccine, since the Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine that is currently approved and safe for 16 and 17 year old's. Those who are 18 and older will either receive Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson, these are the only vaccines currently approved by the FDA. San Bernardino county is also now in the orange tier, meaning that COVID cases are decreasing and more restaurants and establishments will be opening up.
