The year has finally come to an end, from going to football games, prom and now awaiting graduation I guess it's safe to finally say goodbye to the Golden Gazette. My four years of high school have been a true ride but all the moments I’ve had here are some that I will forever hold in my heart. From starting freshman year at home being socially isolated and coming back to meet new people was scary but the one place that made me feel like myself was our journalism club in room D-5. A club that allowed me to make some incredible new friends and memories. Every laugh, every look I’d get for not having an article ready are just some of the small peculiar moments I'll remember. It truly was an honor to be Ike’s Golden Gazettes secretary for two years straight, a position that taught me responsibility and integrity. I will miss it of course, my safe place where all my thoughts were poured onto a docs and published with no fear of what others would think of it. Thank you for everything Ike’s Golden Gazette, I guess this is our official goodbye, this is your Journalism Secretary signing off!!
