That’s A Wrap!

I am Jocelyn Olmos and I am a senior graduating from Eisenhower High School. I have attended Eisenhower for all my four years of high school and have been part of the school’s newspaper all four years as well. This club is where I first discovered my love for film and t.v. and I hope I can fulfill my dream of being part of Marvel Films in my future.

Starting journalism in quarantine and being able to write about whatever I wanted was the most freedom a student could ask for in a time like Covid-19. I slowly found my liking to write movies and show reviews on the Marvel franchise. Being able to analyze and give my opinion on my favorite movies was the most fun to me. This is where I found my want to study film and want to be a part of big production films, specifically Marvel.

I hope a lower-classman who isn’t sure about what they want to do once they graduate become inspired to find something that fits them and makes them driven. It’s never too late to find your passion, and yes follow your passion, not what is going to make you the most money but will make you miserable. Do something that will make you happy to get to work and be surrounded by something that makes you excited.

This is Jocelyn Olmos, officer of The Golden Gazette, signing off!
