Now for Something Two Strange

By Jocelyn Olmos

Did you really think that Spider-Man: No Way Home would just give us the three iconic Spider-Man in one of the most amazing marvel films? Well think again because we got two end credit scenes at the end of the film. The first end credit scene being Eddie Brock and Venom being in a bar in Mexico trying to make sense of all the creatures in the MCU (Iron Man, Thanos, Hulk). However the end credit scene that will be focused on today is the second end-credit scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home. This end credit scene was actually a trailer to the new Doctor Strange movie named Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The one thing that stuck out to me in this trailer is that we see not just one Stephan Strange but another Stephan Strange. A Stephan Strange that looks way more wicked and evil.

This other Stephan Strange looks awfully like the Stephan Strange we see in the “What If…” episode, “What If… Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands.” This episode featured Doctor Strange and how he himself and the rest of the universe turned out by him trying to stop his girlfriend from dying in a car crash. Doctor Strange meddled with the dark arts too much and saw another universe with an evil him. This means that not only does the Multiverse open up to other universes we’ve seen like three different Spider-Men but it also opens up to other universes where it can just be what ifs. This opens a whole new wave of multiverses and theories.

The movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be released on May 6th of this year. This movie has lots of new stars from the MCU and old ones. Familiar faces would be Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, and Benedict Wong, as Wong, and Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier. New actors and actresses would be Xochitil Chavez as America Chavez, Rachel McAdams as Christine Parker, and many others.

This trailer was a surprise to many especially after watching Spider-Man: No Way Home, however it made everyone so much more excited for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. You can check out the trailer for your self; Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
