Held on the night of October 21st was one of the biggest events of the school year, homecoming. The theme had been announced as Hollywood for some time, which gave students time to pick and choose the perfect outfit. When asked what the first word that comes to mind when hearing the word “Hollywood”, most students answered with words such as glamorous, flashy, etc.
Students showed up and showed out, wearing outfits that are not only red carpet worthy, but outfits that represent who they are as individuals. I interviewed several students about their outfits and here's what they had to say about it.The first person I interviewed was Caithlyn Santamaria, three words she chose to describe her outfit are Hollywood, classy, and sexy. She said she did try to be on theme and took inspiration from old Hollywood looks.
The next two are Aidan Keo and his friend Sean Long. Some words that they chose to describe their outfits were black, gold, simple, and opium. Aidan had said that he tried to be on theme and incorporate gold into his outfit which ended up matching his sash as well. Sean had stated that he didn’t try to match the theme however, he just wanted to get noticed by Playboi Carti.
The next student that I interviewed was De’Kree Antone. Three words she chose to describe her outfit were classy, thrifted, and elegant. De’Kree stated that she did try to match the theme with elements in her outfit such as diamonds and red accents (her nails and lipstick).
Last but not least, I had interviewed Naja Rover on her outfit and the words she chose to describe her outfit were glamorous, gold-filled, and elegant. She had also stated that she did try to be on theme.
All of those who attended homecoming looked absolutely stunning and really nailed the classic timeless look of Hollywood!
