Haunted HOCO

By De'Kree Antone

Saturday, October 30th was Eisenhower's annual Homecoming Dance of 2021. The theme this year was Haunted HOCO and ASB followed through and made a perfect combination of spooky and haunted with a mix of hype and fun. Being that it was a Haunted HOCO you were able to either dress formally or dress in your Halloween costume because of the closeness of the holiday.

The decorations help the dance become interactive and pleasant, with games and food if you didn’t want to dance. Another event that happened during Homecoming was the vote results for the junior prince and princess to complete the rest of the Homecoming Court.

Congrats to Homecoming: Queen: Nataly Gutierrez King: Santos Vasquez Royalty: Lea Perez Princess: Sharik Gomez, Prince: Nathan Dominguez

The music was great letting people go back to 2016 and just enjoy their best life. I would like to thank Chick-fil-A for the catering and the people that were in charge of the snack table.

Overall Saturday night was an unforgettable night for the 393 people that attended, and hopefully, people that were not able to come this year will next year. If you are planning to go next year, no matter how much money or desire you have to go, you won’t get though the front if you don’t have a permission slip (spoken from experience) Here are some photos to envision what the night was like. Again I will like to give credit to Mrs. Stevenson and her ASB crew for a wonderful spooky night and can’t wait to see what could top this year.
